The one of the most beautiful moments of the performance – it is synchronous dance of Sarafanov and Denis Matvienko. This is not a duet because everyone is by himself; they are practically not interacting as practically don’t interacting the premier dancers at the theatre, they can do not intersect with each other for the months. But each of them is integrating in the offered by Clug style: some kind of bird’s scream of the arms, an anxious filling of the space by the upper extremities. If looking at them to “turn out” the sound in the mind, it seems that the guys are painting the walls, fighting to invisible enemy and swashing in the river at the same time. If you’d “turn on” the sound, you’d understand that this is a literal compliance with the music: an alarm but the masculine one, without any drop of the hysteric.
This performance of half an hour's duration (there was a reputable divertissement attached) undoubtedly applies to the important events of the season. Not just because it’s well staged and excellently performed, but what is also important that this is a continuation of the ballet stars personal projects chain. When there is crowded or boring at their own theatre they take care about themselves. It’s pity that not all premier dancers, which complain to the repertoire problems, want and have a possibility to follow this way. The audience win because of such routes.
