There was a ballet performance on the stage of Mikhailovsky Theatre that was realized by the best dancers of Mariinsky and produced by Saint-Petersburg theatre centre on Kolomenska. It included the divertissement of 6
duets and the premier of ballet Quatro choreographed by Slovenian choreographer Edward Clug.
The music of the composer Milko Lazar, who is a Slovenian too, was performed on the stage by Ludmila Sveshnikova (a piano) and Natalia Baykova (a cello), both of them are from Mariinsky too. An idea of the project belongs to two principal dancers of the Mariinsky’s stage: Denis Matvienko and Leonid Sarafanov. It seems that we were not wrong when we noted the spirit of a creative solidarity at recent Sarafanov’s benefice. We have to remind that we were talking that the dancer included to his programme the ballet with two instead of one male role and performed in a pair with Denis Matvienko. The same theme of the brotherhood but not the competition, the male
friendship was visible at the new project too. Obviously this project was made with an enthusiasm of like-minded persons
